Appraiser Continuing Education

​In order to maintain your appraisal license, you are required to complete 56 hours of BREA-approved continuing education every 4 years, as follows:
  • 7-hour USPAP Update Course (completed within the first two years)
  • 7-hour USPAP Update Course (completed within the last two years)
  • 4-hour Federal & State, Laws & Regulations
  • 38 hours of continuing education courses chosen by you

2020-2021 National USPAP Update Course (7hr)

The seven-hour National USPAP Update Course is required every two-year license cycle for all licensed and certified appraisers. Current hot topics and USPAP misunderstandings are discussed through numerous FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions). ​​

Live Appraiser Exam Prep 2-Day Course

A course designed to prepare students for the AQB National Uniform Licensed and Certified Residential Appraiser Examination.
An HP12c calculator is required. There will be a tutorial demonstrating the keystrokes on the HP12c calculator covering Time Value of Money: interest rate & financial exam question topics. If you plan to purchase, the newer Platinum Version HP12c is recommended. If you already have the Gold Version HP12c, that works well.
